After 6 weeks on the road, we are back in London and slowly adjusting. Jetlag has been a bit of a b@#$% on the return. Keira was awesomely amazing on the flights. The way there she sat and played and chatted in the pull down cot. And on the return flight, she slept the whole time – even through the seatbelt light coming on and me having to move her from the floor (where I got in trouble for putting her – in my mind, that was the safest, comfiest place for her), to the activity chair provided by British Airways (not so safe and not so comfy) and then mostly on me (after the seatbelt light came on).
You’ll have to bear with me as I try and make sense of the gazillions of photos I have.
Anything I say about the time we spent will seem so cliche. It was simply the best having time with friends and family. Family really is everything to us, which seems counterintuitive to people who move across the globe. I’m still grappling with this in my head and how to explain it. I don’t have an answer yet.
We’re still up in the air with all our house stuff, but we have to move by August 22nd, so please cross your fingers, toes, and for those of you who are particularly dexterous, anything else that you’re able to.
P.S. There’s many more pictures, so please don’t be offended if you weren’t included in these ones. I just picked from the one’s I had most readily available whilst Keira is sleeping.
