Playing in the Poppies

Yesterday, we chose to make the most our of our time in London, before I’m going to be a poppa. Can you believe that we have been living in London for over 1 and a half years as we still haven’t see the tower of London?

Well… today that changed… sort of.

We arrived at the Tower of London at 9am to see the brilliant installation of 888,246 poppies. It was absolutely amazing! The photos don’t even do it justice, but I tried.  So we’re 1/2 way to seeing the Tower of London. We have at least seen it from the outside now. There was no-way that we wanted to attempt to get into the fortress with this many other tourists. We took a moment to give our thanks to the WW1 and WW2 soldiers, then we opted to have a pancake breakfast at Tara’s favorite breakfast joint, the Riding Hour Cafe.

  1. Ha Ha. Kinda figured it was you Phil. What a beautiful display of poppies in memory of the soldiers who fought for us. You and Tara are both looking happy and healthy. I can’t believe Tara is due any day now.
