Market central

Much to Phil’s chagrin, again, I stumbled across a great market at Camden Town. They had food of every type and there were people everywhere enjoying the sunshine. We walked to Camden from Kings Cross along the river, which had canal boats parked all along the side. It was actually by accident that we walked that way. We finally found a spot that didn’t have cars rushing here, there and everywhere or people smoking and walking quickly by us or construction creating noise and dust. So we opted to just see where the walkway along the canal took us.

You like Phil’s new haircut? 17 pounds at Gino’s. He was so impressed at how quickly they could cut hair, since usually the students at Aveda in Vancouver take like 2 hours.

Another long day – on our way home on the Tube

We thought by the time we got home that there was no way in Hell that we were going to head out again, but we pulled up our socks and went for Indian food at 9:30pm, which is something that would never cross our mind back in Vancouver. It was so good! Laura – when you come, we will leave my Dad behind and go have the best Indian food. The wait staff had no idea what we were saying, and I’m pretty sure we ate everything the incorrect way. I thought, being from Vancouver, I would have a handle on eating Indian food, but apparently I was wrong.
